Welcome to Tiger & Turtle.

A breathwork coach, yoga teacher, author, loving wife and mother of two, Johanna Lehmann founded Tiger & Turtle, a brand on a mission to take you on a journey within to make a difference in your day-to-day life and the world!

Johanna lives in breath-taking Amsterdam with her husband and their two children. She is an entrepreneur, breath coach, yoga teacher and author and founder of United Letters, a mindful children’s book company.  

After working in Silicon Valley for many years, Johanna wanted to start a venture where she can help you use your mental power to travel to places you have never been to before, but also tap into old memories and hidden emotions by using your inner strength to step into the person you want to become.

Did you know? Your breath allows you to do just that. You can change your breath to guide you into your desired state and your mind will follow.

I discovered breathwork when I struggled to find relief for skin eczema, an inflammatory disease. After spending a lot of money, shedding many tears, and trying several techniques, nothing really helped relieve the symptoms of eczema.

I was living in Singapore, pregnant with my second child and had just started my publishing company when my eczema spiralled out of control.

I was constantly itchy and anxious and I couldn’t concentrate on creative work anymore. I felt constantly stressed. Then I discovered the Wim Hof Method, a simple, yet powerful method, based on the foundation of breathing, cold therapy and commitment. It helped me cope, reduced my eczema symptoms and get me into a calm and focused state when I needed to be.”

Amazed by the power of breathwork, Johanna got certified as a Breathwork coach and started to build her own program combining scientifically proven breathwork with music and guided visual imagery and her desire to build a company passionate about developing sustainable products by keeping our planet happy too!

Everything Johanna knows about breathwork, she learned by doing breath training from yoga guru and world record holder Wim Hof, internationally known as “Iceman”, SOMA founder Niraj Naik as well as Breath Master Kasper van der Meulen and as part of her extensive Yoga Teacher Training

Her passion for travel, wellness, and mindfulness has led her on a personal journey to becoming a breathwork coach, with audiences spanning the US, Europe and Asia. As a qualified Yoga teacher, she combined yoga and breathwork with her experience in storytelling and visualization so that you can benefit from breathing techniques on a deeper level.

Our Mission

At Tiger & Turtle, we believe in the power of breath to inspire inner journeys of discovery, improving mental and physical health and wellbeing.

We believe that if we want to see positive change for the planet we must start with our own emotional state by providing you with the natural tools to take you on an inner journey and travel beyond yourself without leaving an impact to the planet.

Not only is it important to support your lungs through the power of breathwork, but it is also important to support the lungs of our planet. For every Tiger & Turtle joining us, we will plant a much-needed tree.

About Tiger & Turtle

When your nervous system is in a state of flow, you will have a sharp, active mind with a calm body.

Tiger & Turtle takes inspiration from the two animals that best represent the state of flow; the tiger, with its sharp and focused mind, and the turtle, the slowest breathing animal in the world. At Tiger & Turtle, we use the tool of breath to steer our state. The calmer your breathing, the less stressed your body and mind will be.

About Breathwork

If meditation doesn’t work for you, breathwork might be perfect. At Tiger & Turtle we consider breathwork a fast way to lead you into deep states of mediation, greater resilience and creativity for your new projects.

Breathwork became very popular in the United States of America thanks to coaches like Tony Robbins, who uses his own breathing trainer.  

Think of breathwork as a massage for the mind. It is a proven method to not only reduce stress and increase energy, but also to help you sleep better and strengthen your immune system.

By combining special breathing techniques, it can also help you process emotions and mental blocks that have been weighing you down for far too long.

Breathwork takes you on a journey within yourself to help you improve your mental and physical health.
