Humming Bee Breath 🐝 Is a simple and effective Humming Bee Breath 🐝
Is a simple and effective way to calm the mind and reduce stress. How it works: 
Sit up straight with closed eyes and start to observe your breath and sensations within.
Place your index fingers on your ears.
Take a deep breath in and as you breathe out, gently press the cartilage.
You can keep the cartilage pressed or press it in and out with your fingers while creating a humming sound (like a bee). The more high- pitched the better.
Breathe in again and continue the same pattern 3-4 times.
Why is Humming Bee Breath great?

It can help to improve focus and concentration.
It can boost the immune system.
It can help to relieve headaches and migraines.
It can help to improve sleep quality.

Whenever I teach breathwork classes at hotels or events people either say “I have never been more relaxed," or refer to them as "crying classes," 😭and recommend their friends and partners to experience how freeing it feels to release old energy in motion (=emotions) and make room for healing.
Sometimes, all we need is to release the old, making space for the new. Just like the gentle exhale makes way for the invigorating inhale, your breath can guide you through this beautiful process of renewal.

I took a month off from IG in July to finish the b I took a month off from IG in July to finish the book draft and focus on deep work. When the month came to an end I had not only finished the book draft for “Atemmagie” ✨🪄(breath magic) but also noticed that the last month have had so many moments of “magic" which I was able to experience much more intense because I was more in the present moment. At the end of the month I sat down to recollect memories of magic, joy and positivity and even though there were many big magical moments in July I also noticed that often the tiny moments of “little magic” 🪄make all the difference and you can find them even amidst challenging times.  My magic moments in random order:
❤️Driving home to see my parents and hearing German radio 📻 ❤️Finding deep healing in breathwork and crying some tears of relief 😭 ❤️Celebrating 10 years with @maxinholland fine dining and ecstatic dancing 🕺 🥳. ❤️Celebrating returns from Hawaii 🌺 and big birthdays with my friend @ankehuiskes ❤️Feeling so excited to teach my first retreat @daskranzbach in their famous forest meditation house. 🌳❤️Waking up after anesthesia in the hospital 🏥 and feeling happy and zen ❤️Celebrating the birthday of both of my kids and creating 80🐧 snacks for school  Do you want to tap into “magic moments” of release, letting go & flying high in a weekend DM me “magic tribe” and I put you on the waitlist for my upcoming small group event ❤️

Here are my favorite ways that breathwork can help with somatic healing ❤️‍🩹 :

1. It can help to calm the nervous system. When we are stressed, our bodies go into "fight or flight" mode. This can lead to muscle tension, shallow breathing, and increased heart rate. 😱 Breathwork can help to slow down the heart rate, relax the muscles, and calm the nervous system. 😌
2. It can help to release emotional pain. Many of us hold onto emotional pain in our bodies. This can manifest as physical symptoms, such as chronic pain, headaches, or digestive problems. 🤕 Breathwork can help to release this emotional pain from the body and promote healing. 🙏
3. It can help to increase awareness of the body. Breathwork can help us to become more aware of our bodies and how they feel. This can be helpful for identifying areas of tension or pain and for learning how to relax the body. 💆
4. It can help to promote overall well-being. Breathwork can help to improve mood, energy levels, and sleep quality.

🙌❤️ With approximately 16 breaths per minute, we took about 5.000000 inhales and exhales together and I cannot wait for the next few millions. Each inhale was an inspiration and each exhalation a letting go (which is also the Latin Origin of those words inspirare and expirare) Together, we have navigated life's twists and turns, ups and downs and highlights and lowlights.
